About Us
Mark Hileman began making jewelry in 1974 and as his designs evolved so did the stones used for his precision inlay jewelry. In the mid 1980's Mark began using Australian opal in his jewelry designs. He established lasting relationships with some of Australia's top opal miners and dealers and soon became one of the top opal inlay jewelry designers in the US. His jewelry could be found in high-end department stores like Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom's as well as art galleries and jewelry stores across the Southwest. As the retail landscape changed, Mark's focus shifted to creating more of an online presence to supplement the sales from stores and galleries. More traditional white gemstone options are diamonds, Moissanite and white sapphire. Metal choices include 14 or 18 karat gold in yellow or white and platinum.
